Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of KamiSign ("we", "us"). By using KamiSign you agree to them.
1. The service
KamiSign lets you sign PDF documents, send them to others for electronic signature, and store completed copies in a private vault. Some features need an account.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You must be at least 18.
3. Sending documents and signing
- Only send documents you have the right to share, and only to people who should receive them.
- Signing links are personal. Do not share a link meant for someone else.
- When you sign, you agree to do so electronically and confirm that the name and signature you provide are yours.
- If a sender requires email verification, you must verify the email address the document was sent to before you can open or sign it.
4. Electronic signatures and records
Each completed document includes a Certificate of Completion with signer names, timestamps, consent records, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. Electronic signatures are recognized in many countries, but the rules vary by country and document type, and some documents (such as wills or certain property documents) may need other formalities. Email verification shows that someone controlled a mailbox. It does not prove legal identity. KamiSign is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use KamiSign to break the law, to forge or deceive, to send spam or malware, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with or overload the service.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of your documents. You give us permission to store, process and deliver them as needed to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
7. Availability and storage
We work to keep KamiSign running but do not promise uninterrupted service. Pending envelopes expire after 30 days. Keep your own copy of anything important.
8. Suspension
We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service or other users. You can stop using KamiSign at any time.
9. Disclaimers
KamiSign is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use KamiSign after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.
